Acting responsibly to support the development of our people and the growth of our business
CEO Statement
ESP has developed and grown over the past twenty years by building strong relationships based on mutual trust and benefit; with our customers, with our staff and with our investors. We are committed to acting in a responsible manner in all our activities and holding ourselves, and those we do business with, to the highest standards of conduct and ethics.
This level of trust is built on a foundation of open and transparent reporting and we are pleased to share our strategy of driving a sustainable agenda across our operations.
We believe in order to be successful we must act in the best interest of our people, our community and our planet.

Innovative
The Energy sector is going through enormous change as we rise to the challenge of achieving Net Zero carbon emissions by 2050. At ESP we are committed to operating in a safe and compliant manner that minimises our impact on the environment and supports the necessary transition in the energy mix.
Diverse
At ESP, we strive to create the best experience for our employees, customers and consumers and we believe that the strength of our business lies in our ability to respect the differences of our employees, and to encourage and utilise those differences for the good of everyone.
We believe it is essential that we value the diversity of our workforce and provide an open and transparent environment where everyone is comfortable sharing their ideas. We recognise the differing needs of our employees and our HR policies reflect our desire to support a flexible and varied workforce.
Responsible
ESP believes in engaging with the community in which we work and we are proud to support the charitable work of the Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation for Disabled People (QEF) and the National Energy Foundation (NEF). QEF https://www.qef.org.uk/ is a disability charity based in Surrey that offers a wide range of expert services that make a real difference to disabled people’s lives.
The NEF http://www.nef.org.uk/ is an independent charity working to improve the use of energy in buildings in the UK. It does this through undertaking projects, often in collaboration with others; supporting the provision of affordable warmth; providing capacity building programmes, for example in building performance evaluation and labelling; and offering information and advice.
ESP is committed to acting in a socially and ethically responsible manner and has a number of policies which govern the ways in which we operate.
