Multi-Utility Services

We’ve been adopting utility networks for over 20 years, providing competitive asset values, plus expert, tailored support and guidance. An asset value is a payment we make to our clients for adopting and operating the network.

As a multi-utility company, we offer developers, landowners and housebuilders secure, innovative and flexible solutions for electricity, gas, water and wastewater across the UK – tailored to your exact needs.

To ensure our adoptions are as quick and easy as possible, we’re always looking for opportunities to enhance our service.

We now fully fund and manage our Land Rights process, saving our developer and landowner partners significant time and money. We also created our market-leading customer portal, providing full tracking and management for faster payment of asset values, while reducing admin to save you time.

We aim to keep things simple and foster a unique way of working. Our experts will become an extension of your project team – creating critical path programmes, supporting design engineering, and offering commercial contributions for adopting your new, multi-utility network.

  Electricity

As an Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO), we own and operate electricity networks across the UK, from low voltage (LV) to extra-high voltage (EHV).

We’ll work with you and UK-wide independent connection providers (ICPs) to provide suitable safe, compliant – and cost-effective – network solutions for a range of developments, including residential, charging stations, and commercial sites.

Performance, safety and reliability are always at the forefront of our service, ensuring networks are built to high-quality industry standards and specifications.

Our in-house technical designers will be happy to advise you on best practice network design and construction. We also provide legal support to handle land rights.

  Gas

We are one of the UK’s largest independent gas transporters (IGTs). We own and operate gas networks across the country, with experience that spans all connections – from residential, to industrial, to commercial.

By partnering with you and utility infrastructure providers, we can provide a targeted approach to ensure you and your client receive the best possible service and solution.

Our technical expertise means we can offer comprehensive insight and advice from initial design through to network commissioning, plus tailored support throughout to ensure connecting is safe, compliant and cost-effective.

Benefits of working with us

As a multi-utility company, we offer an experienced and expert alternative to traditional utility network connections.

Via earlier engagement, we can create cost-effective, optimised designs and support you with your load requirements. Our dedicated team is also always on hand to help ensure the build and adoption process runs as quickly and smoothly as possible.

Landowners

We work closely with landowners to maximise your land’s value through our full development adoption. We are a statutory undertaker in the electricity, new appointments and variations (NAV) and gas markets. As we don’t have a construction team, you are free to choose your own contractor, promoting healthy competition for the most cost-effective deal.

Our dedicated expert team will also support you through the complex planning stages to ensure your designed utilities meet your individual needs, including sewers, drinking water (also called potable water), surface water drainage, and primary electrical or gas infrastructure.
